Women Veterans Working Group

The Women Veterans Working Group consists of community outreach professionals, social workers, and policy advocates from veteran service organizations, public agencies, and community groups across Los Angeles County. This working group strives to develop strategies to ensure the needs of female veterans are understood and met within the community.

KRISTINE STANLEY Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at USC

 

 

DANIELLE HANNE is a women veterans community coordinator at U.S. Vets, where she manages an outreach program for female veterans. Hanne is also a Combat Lifesaver trainer in the California State Military Reserves. Her background working with veterans includes managing veteran resources for 211 Los Angeles County and representing the Los Angeles Homeless Service Authority in the survey to end homelessness. She is a certified project manager and is currently working towards her MBA.

KRISTINE HESSE is currently the director of women veterans outreach for the National Veterans Foundation as well as the chair of the Los Angeles County Veterans Advisory Commission. She actively seeks and verifies services for women veterans and their families then connects women to these services and each other. She served 24 years in the Air Force and has her MS, Professional Counseling degree.
