Conference provides tools, skills to work with military families
More than 100 people attended a recent event aimed at better supporting military-connected families and veterans.
The fourth annual Working With Military-Connected Families Conference was held on Aug. 4 at Bob Hope Patriotic Hall. This conference was sponsored by Children’s Institute, Inc., Nathanson Family Resilience Center at UCLA and Welcome Back Veterans, in partnership with several , including USC School of Social Work Center for Innovation in Research on Veterans & Military Families, Operation Family Caregiver, the Los Angeles County Department of Military & Veterans Affairs and the Los Angeles Veterans Collaborative, among several others.
