Gift will help community help veterans

The Center for Innovation and Research on Veterans & Military Families at the USC School of Social Work has received a gift of $200,000 to support local efforts to help transitioning veterans in Los Angeles County.

With more veterans in Los Angeles County than any other part of the nation, a robust effort of academia, nonprofits, government and the private sector has stepped up to meet their needs and their families’ – and top military officials have noticed.
